Woah guava. Holy guava? Which sounds better? Just opening this bottle, you get a rush of guava. Tasting it...different. Initially, I didn't like it. It tasted like...unripened fruit, but I think that it's just actual fruit. This is me giving them the benefit of the doubt. After you kind of "get it", it gets better. It's not an ultra sweet drink. Strong scent, but light flavor. You do get strawberries, no doubt, but don't expect "candy" like strawberry.

I'm not into energy drinks, so the fact that this is and doesn't taste like a handful of Skittles is pretty great. This is a dietary supplement and I also a time-release energy drink. I never really do anything with an exorbitant amount of caffeine so chances are I would not drink something like this on a regular basis. I don't really get those mid-day sleepies that a lot of people get, but I feel that it's one of those "I always drink coffee at the same time so I crash" things. It's one of the perks to not drinking coffee ever.

All in all, it's not bad. If you are looking for something better than coffee and (probably) better than those 5 Hour Energy shots, give this a whirl. After all physicians created it.

This is the only Boylan's drink that I've had so far that I haven't been totally psyched about. It's not even close to being bad, but my expectations were sky high due to my history with the company. It's just a general cream soda. I was expecting a crazy authentic vanilla explosion that just never came. If you like a very light cream soda, this is probably what you're looking for.

This instantly reminds me of a much higher quality Gatorade. It has a very similar taste to their lemon lime drink, but it's a lot lighter, and the taste is stronger. I had no idea what Calamansi was, so I had to do some research. It turns out it is a citrus fruit from Southeast Asia.
I'm pretty sure Function has discontinued this line, but if you find it I suggest picking some up. If you're in the market for a sports drink that actually has natural additives in it that will help with your recovery time, look no further.

Boylan!!! How do you do it? Every drink? Really? Every drink. This is the best black cherry pop I've ever had. The cane sugar keeps the flavor sharp and doesn't smooth it out like a corn syrup would. It's got a killer flavor, too.

As many of you know, I drink a lot at work. Before you get concerned about my blood sugar, I share with everyone in the office. Everyone gets a sip or two. We're like a big family here. A family that drinks together stays together. Everyone who drank it loved it. I get a pretty good varied response from the people who drink; some critical and some pretty lax, but all in all, I get varied results. This time? Unanimous.

Finally. Do you know how hard it is to find a genuine, sincere sweet tea? Near impossible. Do you know what the ingredients to sweet tea are? Sugar and black tea. Done. Period. Also, not fake sugar. No one would make you a drink with Splenda and tea and call it sweet tea and get away with it without a black eye and/or broken tibia. Yeah, that's a rough bone to break.

Now I enjoy sharing. I share drinks, food, seats in my car, everything. I shared this drink with a friend and he said that it was good. Why does that mean something? Dude's from Georgia. Do you know where Georgia is? The South. Do you know what they drink in the South? Sweet tea. Therefore, this man knows a thing or two about how it should be and this got his seal of approval.

Boylan is quickly becoming my favorite soda company. I've loved every flavor that I have tried thus far. Grape is no different. It falls somewhere between an actual grape and grape candy flavoring. Children everywhere love this drink. Their faces smeared with chocolate and candy, grasping the bottle of soda as if it were their only friend in the world, chugging away, with a small stream of sugary goodness running down their chin. Grab a bottle. Grab a kiddie pool. Enjoy.

How is it that root beer is so incredible when I'm not a fan of most of the ingredients? Anise? Licorice? No thanks! They taste like poison to me. You mix those in with some other ingredients and you have yourself one of the world's greatest drinks. Boylan's got their start making birch beer, but they have definitely transferred their magic into this root beer. It has the nice earthy flavor that is common in "fancier" root beers. It's somehow smooth and crisp at the same time. Just like a root beer should be.

When I first tasted this, I was disappointed that it was flat. I double-checked to make sure it was supposed to be carbonated. When I confirmed this, I also noticed something else on the bottle: the expiration date. Usually I don't bother to check the drink by date on soda, but after this I might. I can understand a shop owner keeping a drink in the cooler a couple months after it expires, but I don't understand how they can keep a bottle for over FOUR YEARS past it's expiration date. Yup. The expiration date on this bottle is March 1, 2006. No wonder it's not carbonated anymore.

It's a shame to because I was excited about this drink. I don't see many lime sodas. And this is from Fiji, a place I've never had a soda from before. Plus, it has a great tag line: The Real Thirst TERMINATOR.

Now you're probably wondering how it tasted, right? Actually, it's not that bad. You know those 1-gallon jugs of "orange flavored drink" you can buy at the grocery store for a couple dollars? This tastes like a "lime flavored drink". I hope I can find a fresh bottle of this because it has promise.

I'm sure I've had Dad's Root Beer before, but i couldn't remember how it was. For some reason I have always lumped Dad's together with A&W and Barq's, aka bland root beer. I must say that this is not the case. Dad's is really smooth to drink, with just the right heavy taste to it.

Every sip tastes like I'm sitting next to a stream, fishing with my Dad. I'm not sure if that's a subliminal message due to the name of the company, or just a memory I have drinking root beer with my dad while fishing, or maybe both, who knows.

All that aside, this is a good root beer. Not the best, but far from the worst.

It's got a bite, a really hard bite. And it feels good. Man, so good. Go to a root beer brewery and get birch beer and that is the only time you will get birch beer this good. This gets an undeniable 5 apples, cherries, starts, thumbs up, bottles, or whatever else your rating system goes up to. Boylan's, you do it right.

Whenever I drink a cola made with cane sugar, I am transported to a world where HFCS doesn't exist and every soda tastes great. But then after the bottle is finished, I come back to reality. Empire makes a damn good bottle of cola. It's really smooth, and there are hints of cream in it as if they mixed in a little cream soda. It's full of flavor, but not overwhelming. I wish more colas tasted this good.

This is one hell of an orange soda. It's very crisp, and the orange flavor is from mandarin and tangerine oils. That means it actually tastes like some sort of fruit, and not the orange flavoring, that's in most orange soda. That stuff doesn't taste anything like an actual orange. I really wish I were out grilling in the sun while I was drinking this. As we all know orange soda is the official drink of BBQs.

When I first saw this bottle on the shelf, I dismissed this at first because I thought it was some sort of carbonated wine. I looked into it more and found out it was a cherry soda. Like most drinks I have never seen before, I had to try it. The cherry flavor is really rich and good. While this is definitely the best cherry soda I've ever had, I don't think I'll ever buy it again because it wasn't anything special. But for cherry soda lovers, this is definitely recommended.

When I first took a sip of this, I thought to myself "this is the weakest ginger beer I've ever had". Then I looked at the label and noticed it was lemon ginger beer and it all made sense. It tastes like lemon lime soda mixed with ginger beer. It's actually quite refreshing. As you can imagine, it's much more mild than straight ginger beer. I personally like the strong taste of normal ginger beer, but this is pretty tasty.

Everyone who brought your hemp necklaces, hemp bracelets, and copies of Legalize It can leave. You, in the back using your dreads as a pillow, go home. This tea is for the Everyman man.

This tea is delicious. I don't care for peaches. So sue me. I never did. The passionfruit, on the other hand, is quite prominent. You get a nice, subtle bite from the cane sugar, which I am a fan of. I haven't felt any of the effects of the valerian root or melatonin, but maybe I was already a bit sleepy from a large dinner.

This is a legit tea as far as tea goes. Don't think of it as a hippy drink because it's too fantastic to be typecast. Now Ben Stiller...you can typecast him all the darn time.

This is a nice little ginger ale made by a great local company. It tastes like an improved version of Canada Dry or some similar brand. It's pretty much what you would expect from a ginger ale. There's no actual ginger in it, so there's no burn. If that's what you're looking for you should really grab yourself a ginger beer instead.

This Function flavor tastes the most like it should be a flavor of Vitamin Water. That's not a bad thing. It definitely tastes like goji berry. It's fairly tangy and fruity. You know what I really don't know how else to describe the taste. It is good I will tell you that. Give it a shot. Mull it over your palette.

When I was looking at this bottle I read it as "Bottled by PC Jamaica LTD. Jamaica WI." I thought it was hysterical that they made it in Jamaica, Wisconsin. Then my friend looked at the bottled, and confirmed as per usual that I am an idiot, and it said "Jamaica, W.I." How did I miss the periods that signify West Indies. So yes, this was actually made in the real Jamaica, and it is exactly what I expect from ginger beer. An instant burst of flavor followed by an increasing burning sensation. I don't even know how to describe the "heat" from ginger. It's nothing like the spiciness of peppers or wasabi. It is it's own thing, and it's concentrated in your throat, not your mouth. It's wonderful.

I really wanted to love this soda because I love pomegranate flavored drinks. Sadly, this soda doesn't have a strong flavor. It tastes like sparkling water with some sugar and a hint of pomegranate flavoring. But if you like pop that is light on flavor, this is definitely for you.

Until I came across Boylan's, I had no idea that there were different types of birch beer. This is their "Creamy Red" version. It definitely has the creaminess of a cream soda, with the bite of a birch beer. The bite isn't as strong as other birch beers I have had, but it's nice to have the option. So far I have been a fan of all of the Boylan's drinks I have tried, so I will keep sampling all of their wares I come across.
