iX iXtreme Hydrator Berrie
If someone hands you a berry flavored drink 9.5 times out of 10, you know exactly what you're in for: an amalgamation of mainly strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. If you're lucky there will be some blackberries in the mix as well. Who doesn't love it when that happens? The other .5 of the time you get drinks like this. I don't know what berry they use in these drinks, but it has a vague hint of fennel to it. It's not much, it took me a long time to place the taste, but there is just something extra to the flavor that doesn't normally occur in berry drinks. Depending on the beverage it can possibly ruin the whole thing. In this, I kind of like it. It's strange and unexpected.
An sentence overview of this drink would read thusly: “A sweetened berry flavored sparkling water with the faintest hint of the little candies you eat after an Indian buffet.” I should know, that's exactly what my dinner was last night. Unlike my saag and chana masala, this is also brimming with electrolytes. I swear they are in everything nowadays.
