Wegmans Water Lemon
This is my second lemon drink of the day. No, it's not favoritism like those seven years I took tae-kwon-do and was treated like crap because I wasn't as good as the best kid in the class. That was awful. Sure I leaned manners and respect and how to break boards, but I also learned about favoritism, which was a hard and long-lasting lesson to learn.
Go to a restaurant. Any one. Get a glass of water and ask for it with lemon. If they don't do it, where are you going? Seriously, everyone has lemons. This tastes just like it but you what you don't get? The seeds from those lemons that you vigorously squeezed because you love lemon water so darn much. This is just nice. Would I buy this again? Yes. Is it a lazy man's "glass of water with lemon in it?" Yes. Do I care? Not when I want lemon water and I'm in a crunch for time.

Fizzy Lizzy Fuji Apple
This is my first Fizzy Lizzy drink and I am already a huge fan. I was expecting just a plain, mom and pop, pop. I could not be more wrong. It was sweetened naturally from the fruit in it (apples and lemons) and was just filtered carbonated water. This rules. It's like a sparkling apple juice like you would get to celebrate winning a vicious T-ball game, but in a single serve container. It is all apple juice and not a lot of lemon, if we have to get lemon into the mix. I mean, it's in the ingredients, but it's not in the flavor as far as I'm concerned.
I've got another bottle of grapefruit at home and I think that Jay's got some bottle lying around waiting on a review so prepare yourselves for some solid drinks. I also couldn't think of a better fall drink. Apples. I feel like this past week has been chocked full of apple juice and ciders. This was a good alternative.

Honeydrop Deluxe Blueberry and Honey
Well color me pleasantly surprised. This was found at my local co-op and it is good. It's got chunks of blueberries and a lot of honey. The jam is sweetened with honey and that makes me smile. It's got a great blueberry taste.
I can't wait to try the rest of Honeydrop's drinks in the near future.

Becker Farms Apple Cider
This is it. This cider plus the apple cinnamon donut that was accompanying it made my fall/autumn. It just tastes like apples. I don't know what makes cider different than apple juice but whatever it is, keep up the good work.
This stuff was made like within 100 feet of where I bought it so you couldn't get fresher. It's all apples and nothing else. If you have the chance, get some.

Archer Farms Simply Balanced Pomegranate Yumberry
My girlfriend got this drink, got maybe 1/4 through it, and said she really didn't like it and offered it up to me. I was expecting it to be completely terrible. As it turns out it wasn't that bad. It's much better than the passion fruit mango one I had a while ago. It really doesn't taste like green tea at all to me though. I guess it's that "green tea powder" I mentioned in my last review. This one does actually taste like pomegranate though. So it's got that going for it. I think if Archer Farms started actually brewing the green tea instead of using the powder, they would have a pretty decent drink on their hands.

Cheribundi Cherry
I was scared to try this drink. I was in fear that taking a sip would feel like someone is stabbing my cheeks with sharp spears like that scene in Ace Venture 2 when Jim Carrey had those spears in both his legs. Great scene. Great drink. It's sweetened with apple juice so there are no additional sweeteners. The cherry is the definite showman in this drink. It's tart, but deliciously tart, like a real cherry.
No lies, just juice.

Chadwick Bay Juice Apple
You know what's hard to rate? Apple juice. I think what makes a good apple juice is it's lack of ingredients. This is just apples and some preservatives since the juice would probably go bad without it. This is not from an apple orchard on the side of the road. This is a company. It's implied that they would have some sort of preservatives.
It's very good, too. Crisp and has a real good apple flavor. I really like apple juice. It makes me feel like a kid, but who said apple juice is just for kids. Adults need apples, too. What, you think that once you get out of elementary school you're done with apples? If so, you should have stayed in K-3 a little longer because you're wrong.

Zeiglers Cider Apple
Another good one, and this one's spiced. What's the difference, you ask? Spiced apple cider has nutmeg, cinnamon, and other "fall" flavors. It's good and often bites hard. There is a fine line between good and bad, but this one is good. Also, it should be known, that I got this at a discount/cheaper grocery store for the record-breaking price of only $2. That's a big deal since you can easily get upwards of $3.50 for the same size for apple cider, something to take note of.
This is good and it's just apples and spices. It's actually good for you believe it or not. It's just an apple. Drink it. Oh, on a diet? Shut up and drink it. As I said, apple cider only lasts for a few months out of the year so get it now before it's too late, too expensive, gross.

White Cow Dairy Tumeric
I will review this drink simply by copying the conversation with the most adorable ~3 year old girl I know:
Me: Do you want to try this? You might not like it.
Her: What is it?
Me: It's like a yogurt drink with Indian spices in it.
Her: Is it orange juice?
Me: No. Do you still want to try it?
Her: Yes, I'll try it. {sips}.
Me: Do you like it?
Her: No. What is it? It's not orange juice.
Me: It's a strange drink with turmeric in it, which is a spice they put in Indian food.
Her: Why is there Indian food in that drink?

White Cow Dairy Anise
What to say...where to start...alright.
I've been looking for an anise flavored drink for a while. Pop, juice, water, it didn't matter. I never see it and I want it. I put the feelers out and almost instantly I get the feedback that right in my backyard (if my backyard was 5 city blocks) there is a guy who sells anise flavored yogurt drink. Awesome, right? Well here's where it gets fishy.
I go, “Dude's awesome!” He's got cherry and anise and turmeric, all weird stuff. I buy two, one being the anise. It's settled. After all, it's primarily yogurt whey and yogurt solids so it's bound to be good. I see the red on the bottom so it's as if he's powderized anise and put it in this drink.
I uncap it and take a sip and it's alarming. Yes, I get anise, but there is a follow up taste of just soured milk. I know that it's the unpasteurized yogurt but it's got a certain sting that makes me feel like I've done something wrong, like drink soured milk.
I really wanted to like this and I give this guy all the credit in the world for putting this product out as well as very good yogurt. All locally done. This drink is simply not for me but many of my friends like it. I feel like it's either you do or your don't. I don't.

Ocean Spray 100% Pineapple Juice
Well this is tropical. It's 100% pineapple juice. Not much else you can say about this. People probably use these small cans for mixers for their drinks. I for one am just going to enjoy it as straight up juice.

Archer Farms Simply Balanced Passion Fruit Mango
Wow. Pretty much all I can taste in this drink is the "instant tea powder." It tastes like the gross drinks your mother would try to pass off as iced tea when you were younger. How do you make tea into a powder anyways? It also tastes nothing like mango at any stretch of the imagination. Maybe I detect a slight hint of passion fruit, but it's mostly that tea powder and the pear juice concentrate that they used as an inexpensive flavor enhancer. I will be staying away from this in the future.

Koithan Apple Farm Apple Cider
Living in the North East part of these United States, I am familiar with "apple season." It's called "autumn" or "fall" for people outside of these here parts. Let me tell you how it goes, because it's important.
Typically families buy large plots of land and hand it down from generation to generation. They grow rows and rows and acres and acres of nothing but apple and sometimes pumpkins. They make their money by selling apples to local markets and by selling the worlds best cider, apple juice, donuts, and anything else you can make with apples. I'm telling you, you've never had a donut until you have a fresh apple cinnamon apple from an apple orchard. There's nothing like it in the world.
With farms like these, they make gigantic batches of apple cider throughout the season and they make it with different apples and sometimes they throw other fruits in there to create a line of beverages.
This cider is like a dream. It's some of the best cider I've had, but it's on par with other local ciders. It tastes like if you just crushed up apples and sold the juice and that's all it is. No preservatives, no sugar, no treatment. Get it while it's hot, get it while it's fresh, get it for a limited time. I won't even drink cider between the months of December and July since it's probably somehow treated, sweetened, and grossified.
Take a trip to New York some time and get a gallon of apple cider. You'll never think the same way about apples and apple juice will forever be the second best when it comes to apple flavored beverages.

Trader Joe's Watermelon Juice
This went bad. Really bad. Terribly bad. Did I still drink it? Yep-ahh. I'm a glutton for punishment. I'll give you the back-story:
My girlfriend went to Vegas. She only won $100 but with the proceeds, she went to Trader Joe's, a store we don't have where we are from, and bought a handful of stuff that you can't get here. One of those drinks being this watermelon juice. She then came home, gave it to me, and I brought it to work to review.
So here I am, thirsty. After all, I am a thirsty dude. I say to myself that I'm going to try this watermelon juice because, after all, I like watermelon. I open the cap, hand it to my friend Mike (pictured) and he tries it, and quickly shows a face of utter disgust. "It tastes like someone crushed the watermelons with rubber." he says handing the bottle to me. I smell it, and it's putrid. I taste it...equally putrid. It tasted like you ate two day old, thrown out watermelon.
Think like you are a homeless person and you go through the garbage on a Monday after a back yard barbecue held the previous Saturday. You find what looks like a perfectly good slice of watermelon, but lo and behold, it is not. Put that in a bottle and sell it and that's what you've got.
This was probably out of the fridge for too long during transport so I might re-rate this at a later date. If someone else has had this with better luck than myself, please tell me otherwise. If this is how it tastes, share this link with your friends so that they stop making garbage watermelon juice.

Izze Sparkling Pomegranate
This is the best Izze flavor that I've ever had. The seltzer water flavor is all but nonexistent. It's also the first beverage I've ever had (excluding Pom) that actually tastes like pomegranate. Bitter yet sweet at the same time. It's nice to actually get the real flavor without having to pay a butt load, or spend hours disassembling the fruit.

Martinelli's Apple Juice
Imagine if you will, a story involving any random college dude-bro who talks to himself.
Dude. I don't want to drink. After an all week binge of the lowest quality, domestic beer, I need something else. I need something with no added sugar and something that's not strange. I can't deal with anything half gelatinous or spicy. I also think that I need something the size and shape of a baseball. Got it, I'll have a step above a child's size apple juice.
This was a wonderful apple juice. Sure I feel childish drinking apple juice but I also don't shave and don't terribly care what people think. Giving it a 4. I would love to play flip cup with a keg of this apple juice. Can you keginate apple juice?

Trader Joe's Pomegranate and Blueberry
First of all, please, for me, be careful with this. It might be the darkest juice I've ever drunk and I don't want you spilling it on your white Polo shirt and off white tennis skirt.
Onward to the review:
Stuff is good. It has no sugar in it but somehow only with fruit clocks in at a whopping 300 calories. Seems high but I'm not a nutritionist. This juice is filled with pomegranate, blueberry, apples, and grape juices and purees. This might actually be a healthy drink if you split it in its recommended serving size of half the bottle.
It's not bitter and it's not gritty like you might think a partially pureed and pomegranate drink would be. Maybe a little tart but who doesn't like that tight cheek feeling?
Get it. You will like it.

Trader Joe's Flavored Water Spearmint
I was excited to try this. Why? I enjoy minted waters. This was simply labeled "mint" which makes me default to peppermint. Why? I don't know. I was first disappointed when it was spearmint. I don't hate spearmint but I think that my mind just associates it with gum only. When was the other time you had spearmint? Yeah, I thought so. But this spearmint was lighter than the Metromint drink. I got a natural sweet aftertaste vs. the overwhelming mint taste I got from Metromimt.
Drinks like this make me wish we had a Trader Joe's in my area; even if I can't afford anything in there. Derek in the Thirsty Dudes Portland office has been reviewing a lot of Trader Joe stuff as of late so keep your eyes on that cat.
Mint water is not a substitute for brushing your teeth.

Switch Watermelon Strawberry
This is downright delicious. This is my first drink from Switch and what an awesome first impression. I don't know how they do it. No sugar added and it's fruity sweet. I think you can find this stuff anywhere and it's around $1 a can. Sure they're small cans at only 8.3oz but sometimes a standard can of pop is too much.
Please buy a can of this and comment on this review to let me know what you think.

Izze Sparkling Grapefruit
I was out of regular juice this morning, so I grabbed an Izze to go along with my breakfast. That probably wasn't the wisest decision, but I feel that grapefruit juice should complement a breakfast, sparkling or not. This is one of the less flavorful Izze's I've had. Let me rephrase that, the flavor is there a second, and gone the next. It doesn't leave the aftertaste that you expect with grapefruit. That may be a plus for some people, but I wish the taste would last a little longer.
